Multi coloured collagraph workshop – ‘Rubs Galore’
2 days
This unusual workshop is a must for students who want to take on other aspects of using texture with collagraph. Rubs are an interesting technique, whereby the plate is made from very raised textures ( predominately polyfiller, card and carborundum.) When inked up, using masks and scrim, the plates are loaded with many colours applied in a sweeping movement and put through the press in one pull, creating amazing effects.
Collagraph /textures workshop ‘The Unfolding Story’
2 days
Exciting new workshop combining textured collagraph printing, using melted plastics, soluble carriers for stitch and glue and embossed metals. Selections to be discussed at time of booking.
‘Stitch into Print’…a collagraph workshop with a difference

Students will work with their own sewing machines using soluble carriers (plastic and paper), melted plastics and metal. Printing will cover positive, negative and monoprint combinations. This is a must for students wanting to explore texture from a different direction
